Just like the original tour, each artist performs a solo set with a killer five to six piece Rock N Roll band, and then culminate the show with a Face to Face set which features both of them playing together on two pianos trading off lyrics on each song they perform.
Joel, visually and through his performance, captures Elton John in the 70’s and current day. He is known for his captivating entertainment prowess and his unbelievable recreation of Elton’s outrageous costumes.
Michael captures Billy in the 80’s and current day look and performance style. He is best known for his high intensity both behind and out front of the piano. You might even find him out in the audience getting “Face to Face” with the people.
Both Joel and Michael have endless credits to their name. Joel Mason has performed Elton shows all over the world and has been featured on Disney Cruise Lines and VH1 Elton John Fan Club while Michael has performed for the world famous Legends In Concert, on FOX Television’s reality series “Performing As”, and at different events throughout the United States.
Both Joel and Michael perform as dueling piano players in Portland, Oregon and Las Vegas, Nevada respectively.
Dueling pianos, which utilizes two piano players taking turns leading songs, is a highly interactive, sing-a-long, clap-a-long, audience participation show in which the audience is as much of the performance as the performers.
Joel and Michael bring this experience to the Face to Face show adding funny performance bits, sing-a-long parts, and spontaneous humor.
The Face to Face tribute show is a night of hit songs, energetic performances, outrageous costumes, and true Rock N Roll at its finest!
